It does not feel like things are moving in the right direction at Celtic right now when it comes to the fan dissatisfaction situation. Except for an official statement that fell flat and an explanation of the transfer strategy while announcing record revenue and profits, not much communication has come out of the club. It does not look like changes are on the way.

On the other hand, it does not look like fan groups are taking a step back either. Their next plan seems to be to remain silent for a period of time in three upcoming Celtic matches. Let's see if that sends a message.

Whatever social media posts Celtic have put out through their official channels over the past few days have been flood with comments from supporters expressing their dissatisfaction or asking for change. And that has resulted in the account reducing content, and feeling like one that only crops up from time to time to announce ticket sales.

That is exactly the announcement that came out from the club earlier this morning. They announced that tickets for the Celtic vs Motherwell game are now on general sale.

Of course, such announcements have become, or at least feel, more frequent in recent weeks. As one left a comment on the social media post, calling it 'Sales tweet fc'.

One has to wonder how ticket sales have been doing for Celtic. Surely, if they had been doing well, there would not be so many announcements, especially when it comes to the Europa League games.

Earlier this week, a report had come out claiming that only 20 of the 80 sections had sold out by that point. It remains to be seen how the attendance will be for the SC Braga game.

European nights under the bright lights at Celtic Park are special occasions for sure, and something that turns out to be a career highlight for many players. But under the current circumstances, it looks like some shine might have been taken off the occasion.
