It remains to be seen what kind of additions Celtic will make to their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window. We already know that Kieran Tierney will be making his return to Parkhead though, having already agreed a pre-contract with the Hoops with his Arsenal contract set to run out at the end of the current campaign.
That has not stopped Mikel Arteta from giving playing time to Tierney. Even more impressively, he has been playing as a winger although Arsenal have Raheem Sterling in their squad.
That goes on to show two things. First, how highly regarded Tierney is at Arsenal despite his history of injuries. Two, the lack of form Sterling has showcased since joining the club on loan from Chelsea.
Arsenal fans have been left impressed with Tierney's performances as well, even though he is playing out of position as a winger. And they let it be known on social media.

Celtic will love what Arsenal supporters are saying
That is definitely a great read for Celtic supporters. They should be very happy when it comes to the club's decision to bring back the Scot next season.
Tierney is a phenomenal player, there is no doubt about that. Also, he is a true professional. The only issue that he has had to deal with through the course of his career is related to his fitness.
Of course, that is not something that Celtic can afford to overlook at all. They have to make sure that they have a reliable back up option in place as well, in case Tierney gets injured or needs rest at several points over the course of a season.
It will be interesting to see if the club end up agreeing a deal with Jeffrey Schlupp or not. At this point in time, it does not look like Greg Taylor will remain at the club beyond this season.
