Celtic's midfield could be in for a bit of a shake-up this summer. Earlier, there had been suggestions that Reo Hatate could be on his way out after three-and-a-half seasons with the Hoops. His recent injury could derail any such move though. But on the other hand, we have seen Arne Engels being linked with Atalanta, who are believed to be very keen on the Belgian international.

Engels was signed for a club-record fee last summer and so far, we have not seen him at his best. He has shown flashes of his potential but there is clearly a lot of room to get better. Brendan Rodgers might be the perfect manager to bring about that improvement. Just look at the impact he has had on Nicolas Kuhn, Daizen Maeda and Matt O'Riley, just to name a few, only in his second spell at Parkhead.

That being said, if the right offer came in, one would expect Celtic to consider parting ways with Engels. That is the transfer policy that the club follow. In that case, they would need to find a replacement as well.

As reported by Football Fancast, Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been linked with a summer move to Celtic. The Englishman is being seen as a possible replacement for Engels.

Chelsea signed Dewsbury-Hall last summer from Leicester City. A move made sense on paper as he had enjoyed a ton of sucessin the previous season with incoming manager Enzo Maresca.

But then again, considering Chelsea's depth in the middle of the park, his lack of game time this season would not have come as a surprise to many. The likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez were always going to be ahead of him.

As a result, Dewsbury-Hall has played very little football this season. It might already be time for a change of scenery and Celtic could be a good fit.
