It is no secret that Celtic are looking to add to their options on the wing this summer following the long-term injury picked up by Jota, which could keep him out for the rest of the year, while Nicolas Kuhn constantly gets linked with a move away from the Premier League. And now, it looks like an international winger is on the Hoops' radar, and he could be available for a bargain fee as well.

The player we are talking about is none other than Benjamin Nygren. The 23-year-old who wears the number 10 jersey for Nordsjaelland.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic are interested in signing Nygren. But FC Copenhagen and Anderlecht want to sign him as well.

Nygren has enjoyed an excellent 24/25 campaign, scoring 16 goals and providing 4 assists in 32 appearances. Those are excellent numbers for a winger. And it is not just at club level that he is thriving.

Celtic linked with sensational bargain move for winger

In four appearances for the Sweden national team, Nygren has scored twice as well. Thus, it is easy to see why someone like him might have caught the eye of Celtic.

Nygren's current deal with Nordsjaelland runs out at the end of this year. As a result, it is believed that he could be available for a bargain £2 million transfer fee this summer. If accurate, Celtic should not think twice and make their move. It is not often that you can find a full Swedish international for that kind of a figure these days.

Of course, he is not the only winger Celtic have been linked with over the past few days. They are also believed to be holding talks for Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Sondre Orjasaeter, two players the Hoops have tried to sign in the past. Other than that, two new names have emerged as well. Ecuador international Nilson Angulo, currently of Anderlecht, and Fousseni Diabete of Laussane-Sport, who has formerly worked with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City.
