Celtic legend Lubo Moravcik recently took part in a question-and-answer session with the club, and he has expressed how much he would love Martin O'Neill to win the title.

Lubo said on the club's Instagram: "The best atmosphere (I ever played in) was the 6-2 game against Rangers. Eight goals in an Old Firm game keeps the fans going the whole match.

"Celtic Park. It’s a special place. Every game there was a big pleasure to play in, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

"Of course. Now it’s easy with the internet. I have it all on my phone. Everything that happens at Celtic, I see it straight away.

"I’m very happy for [Martin O'Neill]. He’s still fit, still sharp. That’s good for Celtic. Since he came back, results have improved. I hope he wins the title this season, and I wish everyone at Celtic all the best."

Celtic struggling but can still pull themselves back

Celtic have been struggling this season, with the recent game against Dundee United being a standout. It could have knocked Celtic out of the title race completely, but thankfully, we are still only five points off Hearts and two off Rangers, with matches against both of them still to come after the split.

Under three different managers this season, Brendan Rodgers, Wilfried Nancy and O'Neill, it has been a rocky road, but thankfully, things have steadied for the most part. The legendary manager was brought in for that exact reason, and him pulling this season back and retaining the league title would go down in history.

Lubo's comments about Celtic Park also stand out. At times this season, there has been little atmosphere, but it serves as a reminder that the stadium should always be a hard place to go for other teams in the Scottish Premiership.

Hopefully, the ban on the Green Brigade ultras group can be lifted, and all fans can get back in the stadium to back the team. That's what we need most at this moment, so hopefully, those at the top of the hierarchy who are upset about fans speaking their mind can do the right thing for Celtic.

Next season will hopefully be a much better time, but fingers crossed that we can give O'Neill a brilliant send-off. He didn't need to come back to the club, but he did, and he has only further cemented his legacy as a Hoops legend.
