Of course, you always want to win the title on the pitch, but considering how things are going this season, Celtic might not even need to do that. Throughout the campaign, the Rangers have been extremely inconsistent. We got another prime example of that this weekend. Barry Ferguson might have scripted wins over the Hoops and Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce in recent weeks, but his team did not have enough in the tank to win against Hibernian at home.

Goals from Martin Boyle and Dylan Levitt were enough to seal a 2-0 win for Hibernian away at Ibrox. The result means that Celtic need to win just two of their remaining seven games to be crowned champions of Scotland for the fourth-straight time.

Of course, the result is a blow for the Rangers. But to be honest, they barely have anything left to play for this season domestically.

Whenever a Rangers result goes wrong, a lot of fans look out for the reaction of Chris Sutton. And the former Celtic striker did not disappoint, putting forward a very simple question, as he asked:

"How did Bazball go today?"

After some of the recent results, there were Rangers fans calling for Ferguson to be given the Ibrox job on a permanent basis. But it is pretty clear that they still have miles to go if they want to compete for the title.

As for Celtic, nothing really changes. The focus is on their game this weekend as they will travel to McDiarmid Park to take on St Johnstone.

This is a chance for the Hoops to get an understanding of the opposition as well, as the two teams, will meet soon in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup. St Johnstone might be bottom of the table but no team should ever be ruled out in a knockout game.
