The January transfer window is around the corner and it would be a great opportunity for Celtic to rebuild what looks like a stagnated squad. Of course, we have seen since Martin O'Neill's arrival that some players might have been underutilised by Brendan Rodgers. That being said, there are still a number of areas where the Hoops are nowhere near good enough at the moment.
Of course, the January transfer window is always a difficult time to get deals done. So, it won't be simple for Celtic to go out and bring in players who will improve the squad, as clubs are not keen to lose key names in the middle of the season.
That being said, there are those who are not getting enough or any playing time at their clubs. But they might be able to contribute positively to the Hoops. Those are the type of players that they must target in the winter transfer window.
As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Celtic have been made aware of three Chelsea players who could be available. Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling and Deivid Washington can all leave. But here is no sign to say that the Scottish champions will definitely try to sign them.
Celtic handed chance to sign three Chelsea players
Sterling is someone who was linked with a loan move to Celtic not too long ago. That was based on the potential of a reunion with Rodgers though, and with the Northern Irishman gone, it is hard to see this one happening.
Disasi is someone who could actually be a positive contributor for the Hoops. He is a French international capable of playing at both centre-back and right-back, and he is a leader as well, having captained AS Monaco in the past.
The third name is Washington. He was highly-rated in Brazil when Chelsea signed him but it is a move that has not worked out at all.
