Two Celtic stars were in international action on Friday night, and one rather unexpectedly in Haissem Hassan, who has been carrying an injury.
According to Egypt boss Hossam Hassan, Celtic winger Hassan picked up an injury during international training and that he would not be risked for the nation's African Cup of Nations qualifier with Angola.
But not only did Hassan play, but he played as many as 62 minutes of the goalless draw before being substituted, likely as part of a planned substitution to manage his workload.
Egypt boss Hassan had said: "Haissem Hassan is receiving intensive treatment just now. But I am not worried about his absence because we have a lot of excellent players to replace him.
"Haissem is a vital technical asset for our long-term vision, but his recent injury made it impossible for him to join us for this camp. We prioritise player health and full physical recovery above all else and we expect him back once he is 100 per cent fit.
"We cannot halt our progress or make excuses because of injuries. The secret to our success lies in navigating these difficulties and I assure everyone that the team are fully ready."
Hassan was risked anyway, which Celtic won't be delighted about, and there are more games on the horizon. Egypt's goalless draw puts them joint-second in the group after the first game, with Malawi beating South Sudan in the other game.

Elsewhere, Benjamin Nygren played for Sweden in their 2-1 win over Romania. He came off the bench for goalscorer Viktor Gyokeres in the 76th minute, with Alexander Isak scoring the other goal in the Nations League clash.
In the other game in that group, Poland drew 0-0 with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nygren struggled for Sweden at the World Cup, so it's no real surprise to see him drop to the bench. Sweden also played with a flat 4-4-2, which is not going to accommodate for an attacking midfielder.
