The 24/25 campaign is in the books. Celtic had one to remember, winning a fourth-straight Premiership title and also winning the League Cup. The Scottish Cup final defeat was a rare low but overall, it was a positive season. What is done is done though and at clubs of this size, the challenge is to always look towards the future.

Celtic will be expected to make plenty of moves this summer to improve Brendan Rodgers' squad and convince the Northern Irishman that Parkhead is still the place to be for him. Let's see how it plays out.

Of course, pre-season is an important part of the team's preparations as well. That is the period of time when most of the improvements are made and plans are put in place. With how tight the schedule is during the campaign, there is little time to get much done of note.

Celtic are set to take part in the Como Cup this summer and have finally made the announcement. The other teams involved will be Como FC, Ajax and Al Ahli. It will be played from 23 to 27 July.

Celtic finally make high-profile summer announcement

Rumours had been doing the rounds about Celtic taking part in the Como Cup for the last few days. Now, the announcement has been made and it is official.

Como have shown massive ambition in recent times. They were able to finish 10th in Serie A in the 24/25 campaign, immediately after making it to the Italian top flight. Cesc Fabregas and his team deserve a ton of credit.

Of course, there is little that needs to be said about Ajax and their pedigree. As for Al Ahli, their inclusion is the one that comes as a surprise and was not part of the rumours in the last few days.
