There have been a lot of announcements coming out of Celtic over the past few days. A number of them have had to do with signings and departures. The club have already completed five additions in this summer transfer window while the likes of Greg Taylor, Scott Bain and Daniel Cummings have left with Gustaf Lagerbielke closing in on a permanent move to SC Braga.
Celtic fans were not happy with the most recent announcement coming out of the club though. And to be honest, it is not hard to understand why.
Celtic's partnership with Adidas has been a great success over the years and was recently renewed in a Scottish-record deal. But that has also meant that there has been a ton of merch, and often, it has become hard to keep up with.
It was not too long ago that Celtic released a new kit. Days afterwards, they have now launched a new collection ahead of 4th of July called the US Pack.

Celtic fans unhappy with club's latest announcement
If you take a look at the comment section of the announcement, there are a lot of fans who are not happy with another merch line release. Instead, they want the club to go out and spend some money in the transfer market.
Of course, not many are criticising the aesthetic of the new merch line. In fact, quite a few commented that this should have been the design for the third kit this season.
There are two ways to look at this situation. On the one hand, it is true that a lot of merchandise has been released in recent times. More than ever before and perhaps there is a need to slow down. But on the other hand, the club have a strong presence in the United States and a large section of those fans might be interested in such a release.
