It would be safe to say that Celtic fans are not happy right now after seeing the Hoops go through arguably the worst summer transfer window in their history. And we all know that took some doing. There is a clear dissatisfaction with the lack of ambition and efficiency shown. The supporters want some changes to be made so that such mistakes are not repeated moving forward.

It is understandable why the Celtic fans are unhappy and one can only hope that the necessary changes do take place down the line. At the same time, it is also important not to overlook the positives.

There have not been many this season, but one clearly is the six-point lead over the Rangers. Russell Martin's side are yet to win a league game after four tries and they lost 9-1 on aggregate against Club Brugge in the Champions League qualifiers.

Naturally, a lot of Rangers fans want Martin to be shown the exit door already. But it looks like there are no such plans in place right now, which has to be viewed as a positive for Celtic.

As reported by Football Insider, Martin retains the backing of the Rangers owners for now. The Ibrox club's board remain behind the manager for the time being and feels that he needs time to turn things around, with there being no plans in place to sack him imminently.

It remains to be seen how the Rangers look coming out of this international break. They clearly needed a break in momentum after how things had been going.

That being said, it is also worth pointing out that Celtic could not defeat even this Rangers team. In fact, it was a flat performance at Ibrox from them. So, the Hoops need to improve and as soon as possible, that's for sure.
