Speculation around the future of some key Celtic players has been growing in recent weeks. Daizen Maeda has been linked with clubs like Fenerbahce and Tottenham Hotspur following a stellar season with the Hoops. But he is not the only Hoops superstar who could be on his way out of Parkhead this summer.

Nicolas Kuhn has also been linked with a move away from Celtic. Clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga are believed to be keeping an eye on him.

Specifically, it looks like Brentford are viewing him as a replacement for Bryan Mbeumo, who is on the radar of Manchester United. What kind of a transfer fee would it take to convince Celtic to part ways with Kuhn this summer?

As reported by TEAMtalk, Celtic are reluctant to part ways with Kuhn. But bids of around £20 million could prove difficult to reject, given the attraction of the Premier League and the club's policy of moving on players for transfer profit.

Earlier in the year, it was believed that Celtic would want fees in the region of £30 million to consider a Kuhn exit. The German winger's form dipped significantly in the second half of the season though and so did his transfer valuation, if the report is accurate.

Let's see what the future holds for Kuhn. Out of the key players being linked with a move away, he is probably the one the fans will be most comfortable seeing exit.

Admittedly, Kuhn was one of Celtic's weaker starters in the second half of the 24/25 season. He looked devoid of confidence and a shell of the player we had seen against the likes of RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Consistency is what Kuhn needs to be considered a top player. He is lacking that at the moment and perhaps working another year with Brendan Rodgers could help him in that respect. But if a big offer did arrive on Celtic's table this summer, expect them to consider it for sure.
