It was a decent weekend for Celtic. While they might not have been able to win the Glasgow Derby, at least they were successful in ending their two-game losing run against the Rangers. Adam Idah was the one who found the back of the net for the Hoops on the day to draw them level, after Barry Ferguson's team had gone into the break with a 1-0 lead. It ended 1-1.

After the game, there was the PFA Scotland Awards night. And one decision left most people confused and Celtic supporters unhappy.

Brendan Rodgers, who might be on the verge of guiding Celtic to another domestic treble this season, was overlooked. Instead, John McGlynn of Falkirk was named the PFA Scotland SPFL Manager of the Year.

Admittedly, McGlynn has had a fantastic season as Falkirk sit atop of the Scottish Championship table. That being said, that should not be able to top the campaign that Celtic and Rodgers have had in the top division.

It would be safe to say that a lot of Celtic fans did not agree with the decision. One of them simply wrote: "Embarrassing."

Another wrote: "This organisation hates Celtic. Wait until next season when Falkirk finishes rock bottom of the Premiership."

With all this being said, we do not want to take away from McGlynn's achievements. He has done a fantastic job as well. One should not forget that Falkirk were playing League One football just last season.

So, McGlynn deserves a lot of credit for the job that he has done. He is the first ever manager to win this award on three occasions.

As for Rodgers, we are pretty sure that he would not be particularly worried about what happened at the PFA Scotland awards. Instead, his main focus will be on guiding Celtic to another treble by winning their upcoming Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen. At the same time, they also need to figure out how to start winning against the Rangers again, having not won inside 90 minutes in the last four matches against them.
