This was always going to be a busy deadline day for Celtic and it looks like the club are closing in on their first signing as the transfer window heads towards its end. Most of the speculation in recent days has been about the signing of Kasper Dolberg from Anderlecht, with Adam Idah heading to Swansea City as a result. But while that still remains uncertain, it appears that the Scottish champions are set to add another winger to their ranks today.

Celtic are believed to be looking to sign a couple of wingers today. Last night, news emerged that a loan offer had been made for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. And now, it looks a bid has been accepted for a Tunisian international.

As reported by Tunisian journalist Mahdi Abid, Hammarby have agreed to Celtic's offer. Sebastian Tounekti will fly from Sweden to London this afternoon to undergo a medical with his new team.

Tounekti is someone Celtic have been linked with for the past few days. It is believed that they had even made a couple of offers that were rejected by Hammarby. But now, it seems that the two clubs have been able to reach an agreement, if the report coming out of Tunisia is on the mark.

Tounekti is a full Tunisian international. And at 23 years of age, he has already played football in Norway and Sweden across a variety of clubs. Now, Scotland seems to be his next destination.

Tounekti has not exactly been prolific at any of the clubs he has been at. As a result, question marks have been raised about whether he would be a success at Celtic. One can only hope that the recruitment team have got this one right because the Hoops needs some quality on the wings as soon as possible.

From what we have seen, he plays mostly on the left flank. He is pacy, comfortable with the ball at his feet and not afraid to take a man on, which is what Celtic are missing at the moment in the absence of Jota.
