Initially, the plan had been to send him out on loan to help him develop. But Inamura impressed in pre-season performances and stayed on as a result. But then, he was not given chances when the season started.
Now, Inamura is going to be sent out on loan. But it is not going to be to another Scottish team to help him settle down. Instead, he is heading back to Japan. So, it looks like he might not have a long-term future at Celtic and eventual permanent move back to the J-League might very well be the end goal.
