Brentford have one of the most in-form players in the Premier League right now in Bryan Mbeumo. This season, he has scored 8 goals in the English top flight already despite the Bees' shaky start. And that has seen the Cameroon international being linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle United. On the other hand, it looks like a Celtic player is being eyed as a potential replacement.

Celtic are coming off a brilliant midweek win against RB Leipzig in the Champions League. And one man who was at the centre of it all was Nicolas Kuhn.

Kuhn scored a brace against RB Leipzig to send Celtic on their way to victory. The first was a brilliant curling effort after going past a couple of defenders. The second was a fox in the box finish after Daizen Maeda failed to connect properly on a cross from the left.

Kuhn has quickly developed into Celtic's talisman. It is hard to believe that his place in the starting XI was not certain at the beginning of the campaign. That is how meteoric his rise has been. And it has caught the eye of teams down south.

As reported by TBR Football, Brentford see Kuhn as a potential replacement for Mbeumo. Celtic have no plans to part ways but the chance to make a substantial transfer profit may be hard to resist.

Kuhn arrived at Celtic in January from Rapid Vienna for a transfer fee believed to around £3 million. And if the German winger continues performing like this, it would not be a surprise if the club look for almost 10 times that figure to even consider an exit.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Kuhn. Celtic fans will be hoping that he remains at Parkhead for the foreseeable future. But considering how many players they have seen leave for the Premier League after enjoying standout seasons in Glasgow, nobody would be surprised if he does end up departing.
