What does the future hold for Nicolas Kuhn? The German winger excelled in the first half of the 24/25 campaign but his form dipped afterwards. That has not stopped him from being linked with a long list of clubs around Europe. In fact, there are suggestions that RB Leipzig could make a £15 million bid for the Celtic winger.

Are Celtic looking to part ways with Kuhn this summer? They are believed to be on the verge of signing Benjamin Nygren from FC Nordsjaelland.

Nygren is a left-footed winger. So, the similarities with Kuhn are pretty clear. Is he being brought as a replacement for the in-demand German? Well, Brendan Rodgers' plans for the Swede might be a massive hint on what the future holds.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Rodgers is likely to use Nygren as an attacking midfielder. The Hoops remain in search of wide options.

So, it looks like Nygren is not being viewed as a replacement for Kuhn. Instead, he is being brought in as a number 10.

Celtic have lacked goalscoring from that area of the pitch since the departure of Matt O'Riley. The majority of Arne Engels' goals came from the penalty spot and he is not an out-and-out number 10 either.

So, perhaps Nygren is being viewed as someone who can fit that profile at Celtic. He did score 16 goals in 32 appearances for Nordsjaelland last season, which is proof that he knows his way to the back of the net. In contrast, he had only four assists but those numbers are expected to go up in a more central role.

As for Kuhn, this is no guarantee that he will stay at Celtic. But at least, Nygren is not being brought as his replacement despite the similarities between the two.
