Over the last few days, we have seen speculation grow around Celtic and who the club's next manager is going to be. The likes of Wilfried Nancy, Kieran McKenna and Kjetil Knutsen are being viewed as the leading candidates for the job as things stand. Martin O'Neill and Shaun Maloney are in interim charge for the time being. But will the Hoops make a decision on the situation during this international break?

Of course, the only reason Celtic find themselves in this situation is because Brendan Rodgers decided to resign in the middle of the season. Until that point, the Northern Irishman had always maintained that he wanted to at least see out his contract with the club.

That being said, after everything that has emerged following that decision, perhaps it was impossible for things to continue in that manner for much longer. So, we can only wish him the best in his future endeavours.

Interestingly, merely weeks after his Celtic resignation, Rodgers is being linked with a return to the Premier League. And it is the kind of move that would put him back in the spotlight immediately.

There is uncertainty around the future of Daniel Farke at Leeds United right now. And Rodgers has been placed as the second favourite to be their next manager, if the job did end up becoming available. He is behind only Marco Rose.

Of course, Farke has been at Leeds United since 2023. One would imagine that they would give him a bit more time. After all, they are not in the relegation zone right now.

Let's see what the future holds. Just because he is being viewed as one of the leading contenders for the Leeds United job does not mean that he will end up with it.
