Even though there might be little football, the summer transfer window is one of the most interesting periods for fans. That is especially true for a club like Celtic, who are constantly linked with both incomings and outgoings. Of course, there are some eyes on their former players as well, who could bring in windfalls to the club.

We are already aware of former Celtic players like Jeremie Frimpong and Alexandro Bernabei likely being on the move this summer. Now, it looks like a third name could be added to that list.

Matt O'Riley's debut campaign at Brighton & Hove Albion has been hot and cold. He struggled to show his quality for the majority of the season, largely due to an injury he picked up early on. But in recent times, he has managed to impress their fans, especially with his performance against Liverpool

O'Riley came on in the 73rd minute of the game and provided the winning assist against Liverpool. Now, it is being suggested that the Danish international could be at the end of a transfer bid this summer.

As reported by TBR Football, AS Roma are readying a bid to sign O'Riley. The Dane is now considering whether to leave the AMEX Stadium.

While O'Riley's debut season with the Seagulls has not gone according to expectations, it would be a surprise if he leaves Brighton & Hove Albion after just one year. But anything can happen in football.

It is worth mentioning that AS Roma were believed to be interested in O'Riley while he was at Celtic. They were not the only Italian club either as Atalanta made numerous failed transfer offers for him before the Danish midfielder ended up joining Brighton & Hove Albion last summer.

Current Celtic players are being linked with a move to the Serie A as well. Reo Hatate is believed to be a transfer target for Udinese this summer and after three-and-a-half seasons at Parkhead, he might look for a change.
