Nygren has been linked with other clubs as well. It is believed that there is interest from Anderlecht, FC Copenhagen, the Bundesliga and the MLS. But it appears that he has his heart set on a move to Celtic.
Of course, these are the type of players that you want at Celtic. Now, it remains to be seen if they an agree a deal with Nordsjaelland.
To be honest, that should not be a major obstacle. Nygren is entering the final six months of his contract at Nordsjaelland. And that means that he could be available for a bargain transfer fee. It could even be lower than the £2 million figure that had been initially suggested.
