This summer transfer window has been rapid to say the very least and it is showing no signs of slowing down. It was just today that Nicolas Kuhn's move from Celtic to Como FC was officially announced. And now, there is another piece of news, that will have an effect on Celtic and one of their former players.

Celtic have already made a decent bit of money through sell-on clauses. Jeremie Frimpong moved to Liverpool in a €40 million deal.

On the other hand, there are rumours surrounding the futures of Matt O'Riley, Alexandro Bernabei, Oh Hyeon-gyu and more. Celtic are believed to hold sell-on clauses in all those instances.

Unfortunately for them, it looks like a move for Bernabei might no longer be on the cards. He was being linked with a move to Sevilla after an impressive run of form with SC Internacional, merely months after leaving Celtic on a permanent basis. But the Argentine left-back suffered an injury recently and it looks like the La Liga club are close to signing a different full-back.

'Agreed deal' - Fabrizio Romano drops news that affects Celtic's potential windfall

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla have agreed a deal to sign Gabriel Suazo as their new full-back. The Chile international will land on Saturday and sign a three-year contract.

Suazo is a 27-year-old left-back who is without a club at the moment. He was most recently with Toulouse and has made 35 appearances for the Chile national team as well.

Sevilla's decision to sign Suazo means that they are unlikely to make a move for Bernabei this summer. That is bad news for Celtic's hopes of another windfall. It is worth mentioning though that the Argentine has also been linked with Real Betis. So, a La Liga switch might not be completely off the table just yet.
