Elhamed has to be a starter

Hatem Abd Elhamed is just too good to keep out of the first-team. Yes, Jeremie Frimpong is brilliant in his own right but Neil Lennon has to find a way to keep Elhamed involved as well if he manages to remain injury free this season.

If Celtic continue to deploy four men at the back, he will make a decent centre-back partner to either Ajer or Jullien as both have shown an inability to deal with physical strikers. On the other hand, he is also great playing at right-back as he showed in an incredible performance today against KR Reykjavik.

And if Celtic do go with 3-5-2, he can easily be one of the three defenders and perhaps will be most suited to that role. Whichever is the case, Lennon cannot afford to keep him out of the team. He is too big of an asset to just leave on the bench, especially when the club have problems at the back.
