Neil Lennon has sent a strong message to Celtic fans regarding their 10IAR push next season, although it is unlikely that they’ll be allowed into stadiums.

Neil Lennon has been working closely with The Bhoys to muster up a strong side for the ten-in-a-row push, players come and go. The fans, however, they stay on no matter what, and this is a secret ingredient that Lennon believes is crucial in the push.  Parkhead was included in a world poll relating to the best atmospheres  in football and it definitely shows. It wasn’t about the grounds though, it was about the energy that the fans brought.

That is what Lennon wants to tap into, he gave an interview on Celtic TV discussing his secret weapon.

As reported by The Scotsman the Celtic boss said:

"“This is momentous. It comes round once in a lifetime and I want this generation of supporters to be a huge part of that, as they always are.“I want them to play their part in it and we want to play our part in entertaining them and making them proud of us.”"

Of course, the global pandemic has made things difficult to put together, the fans can’t get near the grounds to get the Bhoys going and vice versa. Lennon acknowledges that getting the older fans into the mix will be tough, but the fans remain with Celtic through thick and thin regardless:

"“It will be difficult in the short term, for the supporters and the players not having each other working hand in hand, but hopefully that period of time will travel quickly and we can get that togetherness and solidarity back again.“This is a generational thing. This team, and certain individuals in this team, have done some really special, incredible things and we want this to be another season to remember. The anticipation is palpable.”"

The players are focused on achieving greatness in the coming months, mainstays are invested in the history of the club itself. They have witness the highs that come with winning, and the absolutely crushing reactions on the faces of the fans after a Celtic loss. They are well aware of what is at stakes.

The suspension will soon be lifted, football will return, and the push continues for The Hoops. The summer transfer window is looming, and the side will definitely be strengthened by the coming of fresh faces.

History will be written in the next few months.
