Charlie Nicholas wants Celtic duo to be shown the exit
By Kade Kistner
Big changes are brewing at Celtic Park, and Charlie Nicholas has now pegged a Hoops duo that could see their Parkhead exit.
Celtic will be chasing the coveted 10-in-a-row when next season starts, and if what manager Neil Lennon and assistant manager John Kennedy says is true then the club will look quite different next season. Fan favourites like Jonny Hayes and Jozo Simunovic have already seen their surprise exits, and Calvin Miller has been shown the door.
So, who else could be shown the door? Well someone, or multiple someones will need to be released or moved in order to sign the high-profile players that the Hoops will need in order to secure the 10IAR as well as finally find some success in Europe that extends beyond just the Europa League Group Stage.
Those high-profile players include some players that are already on the roster like Fraser Forster and Mohamed Elyounoussi who are on loan from Southampton. Talk is the club wants to keep them on an additional year, if not permanently.
So, who has to leave in order for that to happen? Well, former-Celtic man and current Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas seems to have an idea on a duo that could make a club exit in order to free up some financial space according to the Daily Record:
"“I’d offload Olivier Ntcham as I just don’t see him staying because he isn’t getting enough game time…“Boli Bolingoli should be offloaded, too. He should have been out the door instead of Jonny Hayes.”"
Many believe and are upset that Jonny Hayes saw his exit before Bolingoli did, and Ntcham has been attached to rumours that could be a part of a swap to Southampton for Forster, Elyounoussi or both. What do you think? Do you agree with Nicholas’s claims about Ntcham and Boli? Let us know in the comments.
