Celtic are looking to make a double transfer swoop for the Burnley duo rated at a combined £14 million whose contracts run out in the summer.

The season is indefinitely suspended at the moment due to the global outbreak of the coronavirus at the moment and although the Hoops sit 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership table, the fate of the title is still unclear. Yet it looks like Celtic are already preparing for next season’s transfer window and are being linked with the Irish pair of Jeff Hendrick and Robbie Brady.

The duo have been impressive during their time at Burnley and are currently valued at around a combined £14 million. And while it is questionable whether Celtic will have that kind of money to spend on transfers, especially after the league was forced into suspension, they might not need to spend a penny on the duo as their contracts will run out next summer.

Brady is a left-sided player capable of at both left-back and on the wing. Hendrick on the other hand plays in midfield. Both are regular internationals for Republic of Ireland but Hendrick will probably be the bigger catch of the two if Celtic do manage to sign him. The 28-year-old has been a regular feature in the Premier League side’s first-team since joining them.

But that does not mean that Brady will not interest Lennon. It has been already revealed that left-back is his top priority in the next season. And Brady is capable of filling in that position.

The two are on £35,000 per week at Burnley right now, but the fact that they could come for absolutely might make the deal too good to miss. According to TEAMtalk Celtic are interested but it will not be easy though as clubs all around Europe are expected to be circling around when or if their contracts run out.

Rangers fans will be scared by Michael Stewart’s warning. light. MUST READ
