Celtic fans have destroyed a Rangers’ campaign video which shows them donating four bottles of hand wash to two local care homes.

Let us start off by saying that any donation is not small in these testing times. We would like to encourage our readers to help out those in need in any way that they can. But when Rangers Football Club decided to post a 2 minutes and 37 second-long video that shows them donating four bottles of hand wash, it was not an opportunity that Celtic fans were not going to let go and rightfully so.

The global outbreak of the coronavirus has brought a halt to the proper functioning society, at least for the next month or so. The football season is suspended at the moment, with over a quarter of a million people all over the world already being diagnosed with the disease. As a result, football clubs are also expected to help out the society in any way possible.

Celtic did so by announcing that they have donated £150,000 to local charities that are fighting against the coronavirus. On the other hand, Rangers, a football club that is paying their players thousands of pounds every week, decided to post a video that shows them donating four bottles of hand wash!

It almost feels like a spoof video if we are being honest. And with their partnership with Molton Brown, the video almost feels like a campaign for the company.

It is safe to say that Celtic fans had a great time taking the mickey out of the Rangers in the comments section:

Once again, we would like to stress on the fact that no donation is small, especially in these trying times. If you can help anyone out in way possible, however small it may be, please do it.

Sky Sports stance could end up handing Celtic the title. light. MUST READ
