€10 million Celtic transfer target opens door to move
Celtic have been linked with a ton of players in recent times. They have been successful in signing some of them while most of the rumours have not led to anything concrete. Of course, that does not mean that they could not revisit their interest in a few in the future. One youngster the Hoops are rumoured to have had an interest in for quite a while is Mathias Kvistgaarden.
Kvistgaarden currently plays for Brondby IF. And the Danish forward is enjoying a fantastic 24/25 season so far.
Celtic had clearly seen the potential in Kvistgaarden and he is now starting to fulfil it. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
In the past, it has been claimed that Brondby IF would look for a transfer fee in the region of €10 million to part ways with Kvistgaarden. And the player himself has not closed the door on a future exit either.

As reported by the Daily Record, with the player set to make his 100th appearance for Brondby, Kvistgaarden told Ekstra Bladet:
"It is great to think that I have now played over 100 games. I don't know what to expect next or from the future. There are rumours but there is not anything I can do about that."
Kvistgaarden might have been linked with Celtic for a few years now, but it is worth remembering that he is still just 22. So, there is plenty of time and room for him to develop his game further.
In terms of style of play, Kvistgaarden is said to be similar to Kyogo. So, it might be worth keeping an eye on his situation, in the scenario that the Japanese striker does leave in the future. One cannot forget that he was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City late in the summer, as a potential replacement for Julian Alvarez after his move to Atletico Madrid.
