It is not easy to succeed at a club like Celtic, where the pressure is to win pretty much every game of football that they take part in. As a result, there are plenty of players for whom things do not work out at Parkhead. But that does not mean that it is the end of the road for them. Many end up succeeding elsewhere after departing Glasgow.
It looks like one such player could be on his way to the Premier League this summer. Let's see if that ends up materialising.
As reported by Fussball Transfers, Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering Jeremy Toljan. Coach Vítor Pereira sees the 30-year-old as the ideal solution for the right-back position.
At one point in time, Toljan was on the books at Borussia Dortmund. Back then, he had found himself out on loan at Celtic but it did not work out him there, or in Germany. But he has managed to build a successful career for himself in recent years.

Toljan would also spend time out on loan at Sassuolo before joining them on a permanent basis. His time in Italy has proven to be a major success and that has been enough to catch the attention of Wolves.
Now, it remains to be seen if Wolves are successful in signing the right-back this summer. He could be a solid addition the Premier League side.
It might not have worked out for Toljan at Celtic Park. But it is great to see that he has managed to establish himself as a success story elsewhere. We can only wish him the best of luck.
On the other hand, this is also an inspiration for players who fail to fit in at Celtic. They can make it after leaving the club.
