Unless something unexpected happens over the next few days, Wilfried Nancy is set to become the next permanent manager of Celtic. The Frenchman has found a lot of success in the MLS, where he has managed CF Montreal and Columbus Crew. And now, it looks like he is going to get his big chance in Europe.
Of course, the fact that he does not have any experience managing in Europe is a worrying sign for many Celtic fans. They believe that the club are in a tough position right now and need an experienced and proven manager.
Not everybody can deal with the unique pressure of having to win every game, at least domestically. That is the reality of life if you are the manager of Celtic though. Is Nancy capable of handling that? We shall find out soon.
He is looking to bring in some familiar faces in the dugout alongside him. As reported by The Herald, Nancy wants Columbus Crew backroom staff Kwame Ampadu and Yoann Dammet to join him at Celtic Park.

Ampadu began his playing career at Arsenal. He was not able to establish himself there though and ended up playing most of his football at smaller clubs. Interestingly, he also managed the London side at the youth levels.
It is also worth noting that he is the father of Ethan Ampadu. He is the current captain of Leeds United and a regular for the Wales national team.
The other coach that Nancy wants to join him at Celtic is Dammet. Now, it remains to be seen if Celtic are successful in fulfilling his wish.
No matter how things turn out, right now, it is very likely that Nancy will end up in the Celtic dugout. The timing is not clear yet.
