The international break continues to rumble on, and we are now in the second half of it. Celtic have had a number of players who have been busy with their national teams, and that will continue over the next week or so, with most national teams having two games remaining before club football returns.
This international window is an extended one as part of an adjustment to the international windows. It spans around three weeks in all, and club teams will return to action on the weekend of Saturday, October 10.
Before then, there is a round of UEFA Nations League fixtures throughout the next few days and up to Tuesday next week. UEFA nations will send their players home on Wednesday, while there are some CONCACAF Nations League fixtures on Wednesday, which is the last official day of the international window.
Ahead of Thursday night's games, we have rounded up the Celtic players who are likely to be in action.
We will start in League A: Group 2 of the Nations League, where Germany will be taking on Serbia. That game should include Bhoys midfielder Mika Baur, who is set to make his senior debut for his nation.
Jurgen Klopp's men are looking for their first win in the competition after a draw with the Netherlands and a defeat to Greece. They are currently five points behind Greece, who they play again next week, and three points behind the Netherlands.
In Group 4 of League A, Denmark take on Portugal at home, and Kasper Hogh is expected to play, as he has in both games in this international window so far. Denmark lost to Norway in their opener and have since beaten Wales. They are currently third, head-to-head behind Norway and three points behind leaders Portugal.
In League B: Group 3, the Republic of Ireland face Austria at home as they look to build on their big win over Israel on neutral ground, which came after a defeat to Kosovo. Liam Scales will hope to be involved after spending the Israel game on the bench.
Ireland are currently third in the group, head-to-head behind Kosovo and three points behind leaders Austria.
