Plenty of Celtic players have been linked with moves away from Parkhead as we get closer to the summer transfer window. This is not a new thing and pretty much the case every year. So, the supporters are used to it and won't be exactly worried by the situation. Then again, that does not make it any easier to see the club's best leave, mostly for the Premier League, and then struggle for chances at their new teams.

One player who is almost certain to draw interest this summer is Daizen Maeda. He has scored 33 goals this season, significantly improving in that aspect. Of course, his ability to press the opposition nonstop has always been viewed as a major trait.

Naturally, Maeda is believed to be drawing interest from Premier League clubs. In fact, it looks like offers are being prepared.

As reported by CaughtOffside, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are rumoured to be preparing substantial offers to sign Maeda. Fulham, Brentford and Leeds United are also believed to be interested in the Japanese forward.

Most Celtic fans will be hoping that the club are able to keep Maeda beyond this season. There have been suggestions that they want to hand him a new and improved contract, after an excellent season.

That being said, the reality is that all Celtic players are always available, given that the right offer arrives at the table. If a Scottish record move is made, the Hoops are expected to consider it. There is no doubt about that.

Let's see what the future holds for Maeda. He is an important part of this Celtic team. The best-case scenario would be him staying at Parkhead. But an exit is very possible as well.
