Who is going to be the next Rangers manager? That is a question sure to interest the Celtic supporters as well, even as they watch their side close in on another treble. The Ibrox club have struggled to find any stability in the managerial hot seat and have had five different managers over the previous four seasons.

Unsurprisingly, Celtic have won the league in all four of those seasons. Now, they will look to make it five out of five, no matter who the Rangers end up bringing in this summer.

There is reason for Celtic to be confident as well, as Brendan Rodgers has become a bit of an expert at outlasting Rangers managers. How many is it that he has now seen come and go through the Ibrox door over his two stints in Glasgow?

Recently, the Rangers confirmed Barry Ferguson's exit after a run as their interim head coach. Who will be the one replacing him? Sky Sports have an update on the situation and it is one that will please a lot of Celtic supporters.

As reported by Sky Sports, Rangers are speaking to various candidates, including Steven Gerrard and Davide Ancelotti. Russell Martin has been another name under consideration. Danny Rohl, Rob Edwards and Gary O'Neil have also been linked to the job.

None of those are names that will scare Celtic, that is for sure. But if you ask any of the Hoops' fans, most would probably want to see Gerrard brought back.

That is because when Gerrard left the Rangers, he had won the league title the previous season and was also leading the Premiership table at that point. So, it was sort of a positive ending for him in Glasgow and that is something the Hoops might want to rewrite.
