Kasper Dolberg's name has been atop most Celtic fans' search bar for the last couple of days. The Danish international, currently playing for Anderlecht in Belgium, is believed to be the Hoops' top target at striker as they look to strengthen the squad before the end of the summer transfer window. And it does feel like some progress is being made when it comes to a potential move.

Dolberg was recently left out of Anderlecht's starting XI as they took on USG in the Belgian league. Of course, that does suggest that something is in the works in the background.

Otherwise, Anderlecht would not have dropped Dolberg, their best striker, from the starting XI in a game of this magnitude. And the fact that he was brought on as a substitute in the second half goes on to show that he did not have any injury.

As reported by Sky Sports, Dolberg was not named in the Anderlecht starting line-up for their game against Union Saint-Gilloise on Sunday. Celtic are making continued progress in talks for the Denmark international.

Of course, Celtic cannot allow things to drag on for much longer. There is only a day left before the summer transfer window slams shut.

There have also been suggestions that Celtic want to make more signings before the deadline. Another winger and one more striker, or a couple more wingers, could be on their radar.

Let's see how things play out over the next 24 hours or so. Adam Idah is expected to leave for Swansea City as well if Celtic are successful in signing Dolberg from Anderlecht. So, this is shaping up to be a game of transfer dominoes. And it is a very interesting one to say the very least.
