One of the most important things for Celtic this summer, and every transfer window to be honest, is keeping hold of their key players. Of course, that is not simple. Many view Parkhead as only a stepping stone and when bigger offers come in, whether in terms of a more high-profile league or lucrative contract, they are quick to depart Glasgow.

There is no reason to think that there won't be any high-profile Celtic exits this summer. In fact, there is one player who looks more likely to leave than to stay.

We are talking about none other than Nicolas Kuhn. He has been heavily linked with RB Leipzig, while Newcastle United are believed to hold an interest in signing him as well. Recently, rumours had cropped up about Como FC making an enquiry about the German winger too. But now, it looks like the Italian might be set to leave that race.

As reported by Sky Sports, Como are looking to add two wingers this summer. They are closing in on the signing of Jesus Rodriguez from Real Betis for £17 million. They are also pursuing AZ Alkmaar’s Jayden Addai and it is understood that the Dutch club have accepted a £12 million bid for him.

Of course, it is not hard to see why this might end up having an impact on Kuhn. If Celtic are ready to part ways with him, they would want to have as many suitors as possible.

That would help drive up the transfer fee. But in this case, it looks like Como might end up signing two other players and drop out of this race as a result.

Even if that happens, there is not expected to be a lack of interest in Kuhn. But it would be better if Como were still in the running as well.
