It is pretty easy to see why Celtic fans are not happy with how things have been run at Parkhead over the past several years. That being said, these problems are nothing when you take a look at how things have unfolded at Ibrox. For the fourth straight season, the Rangers have sacked their manager and are searching for a new one.

Steven Gerrard was the favourite for the job not too long ago, despite his failed stints at Aston Villa and Besiktas. And while he seems to have turned the chance to return to Ibrox down, it looks like the club have held talks with another struggling manager.

Of course, we all know about the links with Danny Rohl and Kevin Muscat. Now, it looks like a third name might be in contention for the Rangers job, even though he has not been mentioned as much as those two.

As reported by Sky Sports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had also spoken to the Rangers. It remains to be seen if he is in the final reckoning.

It is safe to say that Celtic fans won't be unhappy if Solskjaer ends up getting the Rangers managerial job. His last post was at Besiktas, which did not even last a year and was a failure.

That being said, Solskjaer has had his moments as well. He did a pretty good job at Molde. And when compared to what we have seen in recent years, his run at Manchester United was not bad either.

So, it remains to be seen if Solskjaer does end up becoming the next Rangers manager. He is certainly a bigger name than Rohl and Muscat, and has managed at a higher level. But at the same time, it is not a name that will worry Celtic.
