There has been mixed news for Celtic on deadline day. Of course, it looks like the move for Kasper Dolberg, that fans were excited about, has collapsed as Ajax have now swooped in and taken the lead. The Danish international appears to be keen on a return to his former club over a move to Parkhead. And we all know how this story ends.
That being said, there is some positive news for Celtic as well. It looks like the club have successfully agreed a deal for one of their top targets on the wing.
As reported by Anthony Joseph, Celtic have agreed a £5.2 million deal to sign Sebastian Tounekti. It’s understood that the Hoops' third bid has been accepted by Hammarby. The clubs are now in a race against time to complete the documents. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue.
A lot of Celtic fans were not impressed with Michel-Ange Balikwisha's performance in the Glasgow Derby against the Rangers. Now, the Hoops are bringing in some competition for him.

Some questions have been raised about the move for Tounekti. He has scored just three goals for Hammarby so far in his career. So, why were Celtic so keen to sign him?
Of course, we have not seen a ton of Tounekti. But from what we've seen, he seems like a winger who is not afraid to take his man on and has the ability to get past them, even in tight spaces, and has a turn of pace as well.
That seems to be the profile of winger that Celtic were missing against the Rangers at Ibrox. Let's hope that there are no further hurdles in this deal and it gets over the line in time.
Interestingly, Tounekti might not end up being Celtic's last winger signing on deadline day. They are believed to be keen on bringing in two wingers to the club today and even made an offer for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi of Crystal Palace yesterday.
