Celtic have a number of players who could be looking towards the exit door this January. There are plenty who are not getting enough playing time at the moment and leaving might be the best option, not only for them but the club as well. It remains to be seen how things will play out in this regard over the coming weeks.

Luis Palma is someone who seems almost certain to leave. The Honduran winger had been signed from Aris FC last year.

Palma was actually pretty good for Celtic early on in his run at Parkhead. But as his time in Glasgow has progressed, he has gradually slipped down the pecking order in Rodgers' side.

At the moment, Palma is barely featuring for Celtic. As a result, leaving, whether it be on loan or permanently, could be the only viable option for him to bring his career back on track. And it looks like there are quite a few clubs interested in his services.

As reported by Genova Today (via 67 Hail Hail), Genoa are the latest side to put their hat in the ring for Palma. They are said to have him at the top of their list to strengthen their squad.

Palma has a lot of quality going forward for sure. We saw that in a Celtic jersey last season, even at the Champions League against clubs like Atletico Madrid.

But he has struggled to deliver on a consistent basis. And when Palma is not contributing with goals or assists, he is not the type of player who lifts up the overall quality of the team in other aspects. As a result, he has struggled to hold on to his spot in Rodgers' starting XI despite some impressive early form.
