Celtic continue to have a slow transfer window, yet to get off the mark as they look to back Martin O'Neill this summer. The delay in getting O'Neill locked down seems to have caused a delay in recruitment, but other clubs had had more joy.

We have already seen some big deals around the Scottish Premiership, with Lawrence Shankland's move to Rangers perhaps the biggest statement. Here we round up the latest transfer news and rumours from around the division.

Celtic's striker search latest

Celtic continue to be linked with strikers aplenty as they look to add much-needed depth to their frontline this summer. The Bhoys had two loan strikers last season, and with Kelechi Iheanacho out of contract, they could find themselves down to one this summer.

According to reports in Japan, as relayed by 67 Hail Hail, Kawasaki Frontale frontman Soma Kanda is now being linked as the Hoops look to continue their fine shopping record in Japan. The 20-year-old would be signed as a prospect player, given he has limited first-team experience at this stage, but he does represent Japan at youth level, and he has netted six in 16 for the nation's under-20s.

Kanda would likely come in as Celtic's number three or four striker should he be snapped up.

Rangers consider significant sale

Rangers are said to be considering the sale of Nicolas Raskin this summer amid Premier League interest. Raskin was one of the brightest sparks for the Gers in a disappointing season of last, and he even managed to make the Belgium World Cup squad, already appearing off the bench in North America.

Football Insider say Raskin could be cashed in on, though, with Derek McInnes likely to reshape his squad following his Ibrox arrival. Football Insider say Rangers will cash in if there is a significant offer this summer, and there is expected to be Premier League interest.

Hearts close in on attacker

It has been a pretty traumatic few weeks for Hearts, who have lost star striker Lawrence Shankland and manager McInnes, both to Rangers. But work must continue as they look to remain in the title conversation next season.

Hearts are going to need to replace Shankland, but for now, it seems they are concentrating on wrapping up a winger. Hearts Standard report that Frenchman Sabri Guendoz is to be signed on a six-figure fee.

It's claimed Hearts are wrapping up the final details to land the K Beerschot VA attacker, fighting off competition aplenty to land him after a strong season in the Belgian second tier that saw him score three and assist six.
