The summer transfer window is hotting up as teams from around the Scottish Premiership begin to jet off to their destinations of choice. Pre-season is ongoing at this stage, and managers around the country are adding to their squads with each passing day.

Celtic are the only side not to add a new face so far, even if they have brought back Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but they are expected to catch up over the next couple of weeks.

Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Bhoys and their top flight rivals.

Celtic face fresh goalkeeper competition

Celtic are being linked with a move for Hertha Berlin goalkeeper Tjark Ernst this summer. The Bhoys need a replacement for Kasper Schmeichel, and it's reported their search has included Ernst.

The goalkeeper is said to be available on a release clause of around £4.3million for clubs competing in Europe, and Celtic are. But according to a report from Bild, Borussia Monchengladbach are now showing an interest. That could be a problem for the Hoops, with the Bundesliga side carrying plenty of weight, while Dutch giants Feyenoord have also been linked.

Rangers 'in talks' over deal

Rangers are said to be in talks over a deal for Partizan Belgrade midfielder Vanja Dragejovic. The holding midfielder is valued at around £5million this summer, and the club's president has admitted a deal could be done, though he didn't name Rangers.

Local reports claim Dragejovic is being kept away from contact in training to protect the fee Belgrade are likely to get for him, and Football Insider now say Rangers are actively working on a deal despite having an opening bid of £3.9million for the 20-year-old knocked back. Rangers are willing to spend this summer, and they will have to dig deep again to get their man.

Aberdeen agree defender exit

Aberdeen have sanctioned the exit of defender Alexander Jensen, who has joined Swedish club IF Elfsborg. Jensen won the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen and made 55 appearances for the Dons following his arrival in Janiary of 2025.

In a parting message, Jensen told the Dons' club website: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Aberdeen and the memories of winning the Scottish Cup will last a lifetime.

"I had a good opportunity to return to the Allsvenskan with Elfsborg, and I think the move works well for both parties.

"I want to thank the supporters for their backing and all the staff and players at the club. I wish everyone associated with AFC the very best for the future."
