The summer transfer window is now nearing full throttle, and we are seeing deals being done almost every day across the Scottish Premiership. It took Celtic a while to join the action, but they did earlier this week when they snapped up Camilo Duran on a £5.5million deal from Qarabag.
More will follow, and Martin O'Neill says the club's business will only speed up from here. It's going to be a busy summer for the Hoops, and it will need to be, given how quickly the likes of Hearts and Rangers have done business this summer. Here we round up all the latest at Parkhead and across the top flight.
McGregor fears ramp up
Callum McGregor has been regularly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia to join former boss Brendan Rodgers at Al-Qadsiah. The Saudi club are said to want an experienced midfielder this summer, and McGregor is a player Rodgers knows he can count on.
To spark fresh fears, McGregor has joined the agency of Rodgers' son, Anton, and talk of a move to Saudi is only likely to ramp up on the back of that. McGregor was seen posing with Rodgers' sonin a social media post upon signing his agency deal.
Barron race hots up
The race to sign Rangers talent Connor Barron appears to be ramping up amid intense interest from Serie A this summer. Serie A clubs have regularly kept an eye on Scottish football in recent years, and Barron could be the latest to make the switch.
"Bologna, Lazio and Eintracht Frankfurt have all expressed an interest in Rangers midfielder Connor Barron," said Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.
"The Scotland international, 23, has two years left on his contract at Ibrox. He joined Rangers from Aberdeen in July 2024 and has since made 83 appearances for the club."
Hearts boss responds to Braga links
Hearts boss Wouter Vrancken has been speaking about the reported interest in Claudio Braga this summer.
Ipswich Town and others are said to be interested in the league's Player of the Year, and Vrancken has said:  "What I’ve heard is there is nothing on the table, nothing concrete yet.
"I have an open and honest communication and relationship with Claudio about those things. So, no, at the moment, no. Not at all."
