SC Braga are expected to be a tough opposition for a Celtic team that has struggled to establish any sort of rhythm this season. It is somewhat of a must-win matchup for the Hoops though, who need to win, not just to get three points on the board but to restore some positivity around Parkhead as well and create some excitement around this campaign.

To be very honest, there is very little to be excited about Celtic at the moment. They are neither playing good football nor scoring a bunch of goals, as it has been a disappointing start to the new season after a poor summer transfer window.

On the other hand, their opposition in the Europa League are facing a tough period as well. They lost to Nacional at the weekend, leaving them seventh in the Portuguese league, and it looks like their fans want the manager to be shown the exit door.

The Braga fans waved white handkerchiefs at their manager, Carlos Vicens, after their defeat at the hands of Nacional at the weekend. But the Spanish head coach has already made it clear that he does not plan to step down from his post. So, the matchup against Celtic might be a bit of a must-win for him as well.

It remains to be seen how Celtic lineup against SC Braga this week. There are some players who have been bright in recent weeks, while others continue to struggle.

The likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Sebastian Tounekti are looking like decent additions. Hopefully, they will make something positive happen against Braga.

On the other hand, Marcelo Saracchi earned a lot of plaudits for his performance at the weekend. Will Brendan Rodgers hand him a start ahead of Kieran Tierney against Braga?
