It remains to be seen how things will go for Celtic against Kilmarnock. This team is not in good form right now, to say the very least, and they badly need a win, not only to get things back on track but also because anything else would lead to more fan dissatisfaction, which is already at an all-time high right now. Yet, somehow, things seem to be even worse at Ibrox.

This was supposed to be the start of an exciting new era for the Rangers. They underwent a takeover by an American consortium, brought in a new manager in the form of Russell Martin and spent significant money in the summer transfer window.

Well, things clearly have not changed much at Ibrox as a result of it. In fact, it looks like they might be getting even worse.

After the first five league games, they are yet to win one. They have drawn four times and lost once. That is not the start that their fans would have predicted, even in their nightmares. Combine that with a 9-1 aggregate loss to Club Brugge in the Champions League qualifiers and questions are already being raised about Martin's future.

Well, if questions are being raised, then it looks like we have found the answer to them as well. As reported by Rangers Review, the support towards Martin and his position as head coach has not changed in the aftermath of the loss to Hearts. No board meeting is planned for the coming days.

So, it looks like the Rangers are set to continue with Martin as their manager. Of course, that won't be good news for their fans, the majority of whom already want him to be shown the exit door.

For Celtic, this looks like good news, considering the Rangers' results under the management of Martin. But they have other things to worry about as well.
