Rangers boss Derek McInnes has issued his reaction to the decision made to ban away fans from Old Firm fixtures this season. There will be no away fans at any of the Old Firm fixtures this season, with the two clubs coming to the decision alongside the authorities.
There was a lot at play, but it all tracks back to the trouble at the Scottish Cup fixture last season, although that fixture was unusual in that there was an exceptionally large number of away tickets due to it being a cup game.
Most believe Rangers fans were the main aggressors in the situation, but there were, of course, responsible parties on both sides, whatever the split of responsibility.
The result was Rangers offering Celtic just 300 tickets for the upcoming Premier Sports Cup fixture, which the Bhoys rejected.
That has led to the clubs coming together and discussing the situation with league authorities, and there will now be no fans at all at the games.

Rangers boss McInnes, like Martin O'Neill, expressed his disappointment over the fact there will not be any away fans, but he said there has 'got to be behaviours met'. It's not clear whether he was talking about Celtic, Rangers or both sets of fans.
"First reaction is that it is disappointing that it has been made," McInnes said. "Without commenting too much because I don't know the club's position on it at the moment, I think it is more appropriate that the club speaks on it.
"But it's always better when the opposition fans are allowed into a derby game. But whether that can be...there has still got to be behaviours met and obviously the decision has been made.
"I don't know, I haven't spoken to anyone at the club regarding that so I can't really comment any more than that."
