Celtic fans would have been hoping to see the club sign a few players this winter but so far, most of the movement appears to have been surrounding exits. Stephen Welsh has already left on loan to join KV Mechelen and it looks like quite a few others like Luis Palma, Odin Thiago Holm and others might depart on similar deals.
Of course, the likes of Welsh, Palma and Holm do not have important roles in Brendan Rodgers' plans right now. So, them leaving would not have a major impact on the squad.
Greg Taylor is someone who has been a regular starter for Celtic for quite some time though, going back to Ange Postecoglou's time as the manager of the club, when he first established himself as the first-choice left-back for the Hoops. But his current contract is set to run out in the summer and there has been quite a bit of speculation regarding a potential exit, whether that be this winter or in the summer.
As reported by HullLive, Hull City are eyeing a move for Taylor. But they are not the only potential destination for the Scottish international, with league rivals QPR also keen, as well as Turkish club Trabzonspor and Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb.
QPR and Hull City are keen to sign Celtic starter
Taylor has not always gotten a ton of credit from Celtic supporters. But it looks like he won't struggle to find a new home, if he does leave Parkhead at this point in time.
It is also worth pointing out that Celtic have been heavily linked with a move for Kieran Tierney in recent times. And the Hoops seem to be the frontrunners for his signature at this point.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for both Taylor and Tierney. Will we see both, one or neither of them at Parkhead next season?
