It is always fun when two different fandoms intersect. This time, it has happened with Celtic and the WWE. The company is enjoying a surge in popularity in recent times and are coming off the back of a brilliant WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, which is being hailed as the most successful event in their history.

One of the major faces who was involved in WrestleMania this year was Dwayne Johnson, better known to wrestling fans as The Rock. He is one of the biggest box office attractions in Hollywood but decided to go back to his roots this year, being a third-generation wrestler.

He teamed with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night 1 of WrestleMania and was heavily involved in the main event on. Night 2 as well, when household names like The Undertaker and John Cena came to even the odds. Now, where does Celtic come into all of this?

Well, The Rock is not exactly a full-time wrestler these days. Far from it. This was his first 'feature-length' match in over a decade. So, he needed to go into training camp before the event to get into ring shape. The trio of wrestlers known together as Gallus helped him out.

Joe Coffey, who is a member of Gallus and a Celtic fan, posted a picture of the group with The Rock on Twitter. In it, one of them is wearing the now iconic away shirt from the 91/92 season.

Another of them seems to be wearing what appears to be a Celtic Bumblebee kit as well. But it does not have the collar so we cannot be completely sure.

It is good to see the Celtic kit being represented in a picture alongside one of the most famous people on the planet. Maybe we could see The Rock wearing one in the future? Never say never.
