Glasgow is ready to play host to WWE Clash at the Castle. The headliner on the night is expected to Drew McIntyre challenging Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. What does any of this have to do with Celtic? Well, there is speculation that a very famous face might make an unannounced appearance at the event and potentially wearing the Hoops.

We are talking about none other than CM Punk. One of the most legendary wrestlers of modern times, he has been involved in a rivalry with McIntyre recently.

McIntyre is a well-known Rangers supporter. And interestingly, that seems to have given Punk some inspiration ahead of Clash at the Castle.

As reported by Football Scotland, Punk was spotted in a Celtic shop looking to buy the jersey. Fans are speculating that he could potentially cost McIntyre his chance at gold.

One has to wonder why he was in the Celtic store. Punk is a well-known NHL fan but it feels unlikely that he has suddenly developed a love for the Hoops without any reason.

Normally, Punk costing McIntyre the championship in Glasgow would not be a popular move. But things might get interesting if he does so while wearing a Celtic jersey.

Of course, we are just hours away from the event and it will all become crystal clear soon. Of course, it would be pretty cool if Punk did make an appearance at a major WWE event wearing a Celtic jersey.

Punk is a major superstar in his own right. He has shared the ring with the likes of The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns and many others. He has also had a couple of contests in the UFC and featured in films.
