Celtic need to strengthen in the January transfer window. The club are believed to be close to getting a deal done for Nicolas Kuhn of Rapid Vienna, who will arrive in a £3 million move. On the other hand, some of the Hoops' best players are being linked with a move away. We have all seen the rumours involving Matt O'Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi lately. And now, another superstar seems to be drawing interest from down south.

Celtic signed a lot of brilliant players during the time of Ange Postecoglou as the manager of the club. Cameron Carter-Vickers was perhaps the best of them all.

The United States international was brought in from Tottenham Hotspur, having never established himself at the London club. He has been Celtic's leader at the back since arriving in 2021 though.

Could a move away from Parkhead be on the horizon? As reported by SBI, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest and Brentford are all interested in signing Carter-Vickers from Celtic.

Carter-Vickers is not having the best season right now, as he has been dealing with constant fitness issues. When he has been available, he has been a nailed-on starter in Brendan Rodgers' side though.

It is expected to take a significant transfer fee to sign Carter-Vickers. The Hoops should not even consider letting him go in the middle of the season though.

It is not hard to understand why a return to the Premier League might potentially interest Carter-Vickers. He is 26 years of age right now and entering his prime years as a footballer. He has already had a decent run at Celtic and could look for a new challenge. Let's see how things play out over the coming months for the United States international.
