West Ham United and Fulham want to sign Celtic player
Celtic will be looking to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window. But unfortunately for the Hoops, it looks like quite a few of their best players are also being linked with moves away. We have already read about the speculation regarding the futures of Matt O'Riley and Kyogo. And now, it looks like the time has come to add another name to that worrying list.
The player we are talking about is none other than Cameron Carter-Vickers. The American international has been a stalwart at the back for Celtic since his arrival in the summer of 2021.
Carter-Vickers had initially arrived at Celtic on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. But after an impressive season with the club, he was signed on a permanent basis the following summer.
Carter-Vickers has had his injury problems. But when he has been fit and available, he has been an excellent performer for the Hoops. In fact, his availability was one of the key reasons Celtic were able to find some consistent form towards the end of last season and win a Premiership and Scottish Cup double.
West Ham United and Fulham want to sign Celtic player
As reported by HITC, Ipswich Town are among the clubs eager to sign Carter-Vickers. But they are not alone as there is interest from both West Ham United and Fulham.
Ipswich Town have recently been promoted to the Premier League. They were playing League One football just a couple of seasons ago and have been on quite the rise since then.
On the other hand, West Ham United and Fulham both finished in mid-table spots in the Premier League last season. So, it is safe to say that if Carter-Vickers was to leave for any of those clubs, he would not be expected to compete for trophies.
