West Ham United announce exit of former Celtic player
Celtic have very important games coming up. Of course, they have the Scottish Cup final against the Rangers at Hampden Park later this month. But the three remaining league matches are all finals in itself, with the next one being the Glasgow Derby at Parkhead. If they can win that, the Premiership would be as good as secured.
Brendan Rodgers' has faced a lot of criticism since his Celtic return. But if he can guide the club to a double, it would have to be seen as a major achievement, especially as they were clearly not at their best and the recruitment had been very disappointing as well.
All signs point towards him remaining the manager of the club beyond this season. On the other hand, there is one former Celtic player who is set to leave his current coaching post this season.
West Ham United have announced on their official website that David Moyes will leave the club at the end of the 2023/24 season when his contract expires. The decision is by mutual consent.

That is a bold decision to say the least. It was just last summer that Moyes had guided West Ham United to their first major trophy in more than 40 years, winning the UEFA Europa Conference League with the Hammers.
While their recent form has not been great, one cannot deny that overall, West Ham United have improved a lot in the Premier League as well since the appointment of Moyes. Even now, they are 9th, which is decent considering how much competition there is.
Moyes is a great manager for sure and someone who has been linked with the Celtic job several times in the past. Could it happen one day? Only time shall tell.
