UFC superstar praises Celtic end after Scottish Cup final

Celtic scripted a happy end to the 2023/24 season with a 1-0 win over the Rangers at Hampden Park, which secured the Scottish Cup and a double. Considering how shaky things had looked at different pointa in this campaign, most fans would be delighted with how things ended and the future looks bright for Brendan Rodgers' second stint at Parkhead.

The Scottish Cup final was in many ways the perfect end to the season. It is always sweet to get the better of the Rangers and even more so when it comes with silverware. This one came thanks to a late winner from Adam Idah.

It is worth pointing out that Celtic were undefeated against the Rangers this season. They won four Glasgow derbies and drew the other one, 3-3 at Ibrox.

The Hampden Park final was an important game without a doubt and a famous face in the crowd was that of Paddy Pimblett. The UFC superstar shared pictures from the game on his Instagram and also mentioned in the caption how it was an "unbelievable atmosphere puts most prem grounds to shame, that Celtic end was bouncing".

It is no secre that Pimblett is a big fan of Liverpool. And he must have felt right at home with 'You'll Never Walk Alone' being sung.

Pimblett is one of the biggest names in the UFC right now. He has not won Championship gold but is yet to taste defeat since joining the company, having wins over the likes of Tony Ferguson and Jared Gordon. He also has almost 3 million followers on Instagram, a proof of his popularity and starpower.

Let's see if Pimblett ends up attending a game at Celtic Park in the future. He certainly appears to have enjoyed his experience at the Scottish Cup final.
